The cerebral monarch of Issele-Uku Kingdom, HRM Agbogidi Obi Nduka JP (MNSE) has established partnership with the newly created Operation Delta Sweep to help provide security in Issele-Uku and environs as indigenes and visitors prepare to celebrate the festive season.
The Traditional Ruler who on Tuesday 3rd December, 2024, hosted the Head of Operation and his team of the combined security network, revealed the outcome of their meeting to our Correspondent through the President General of Issele-Uku Development Union (IDU), Mr. Ugeh Offordile.
From this partnership, it is obvious that Issele-Uku indigenes, guests and visitors coming from all over the world during the Christmas and New Year feasts would enjoy adequate security at home.
Evidence abound that the ebullient and result oriented monarch has been worried about security of his people during the Yuletide, hence the concerted effort to put in place a security system that would beat criminals to their game within the festive period.
However, this partnership has also underscored the importance of Issele-Uku within the cosmopolitan State Capital and the need to give seasonal returnees the confidence that home is safe for them.
Stating in clear terms what they planned to achieve during the festive period, the Head, Operation Delta Sweep, Major E.I. Agina, said their mission is to ensure that the period is safe for everybody to celebrate in peace and orderliness.
He advised criminals to stay away from crime during this period in order to avoid collateral damage on their side, insisting that they are battle ready to ensure that Deltans sleep with their two eyes closed.
