The amiable Council Chairman for Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Ezenyili Kelvin Obi Ph.D., has commended the Fostering Hopes Foundation for living up to its name in supporting families and advancing the development of children, maintaining that its likes in the business of Non Governmental Organizations help government to strengthen its efforts at ensuring human capacity development.
The Chairman made this assertion while receiving an award of Sustainer of Hope from Fostering Hopes Foundation, being a duly deserved honour for his numerous achievements in people oriented projects within the local government area, including women and youth empowerment and of course, limiting the crisis of food economy for the benefit of his people.
Ezenyili also pledged to do more in his capacity as Chairman and any other capacity he might find himself in the future, stressing that it gives him joy seeing how NGOs are helping to kindle the hope of the common man.
Earlier, the Head of Communication of Fostering Hopes Foundation, Comrade Patrick Ochei had intimated him that the award was supposed to be presented to him during the Hope Unites and Event – Walkathon 2025, which took place on April 5, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium after the historic arrival of participants who walked 60+ km from Agbor to Asaba.
Ochei affirmed that Hon. Ezenyili deserves much more as a working Council Chairman of repute, thereby presenting him the plaque and a copy of the FHF Newsletter.
